The imm cologne has just ended. bpi solutions draws a very positive conclusion after this year’s imm. The mobile CRM industry solution Sales Performer mobile, the catalog management solution bpi Publisher, and the innovative communications solution XcalibuR were the focus of interest.

The international furniture fair was once again a venue for manufacturers, trade visitors, and the general public to present new products, identify trends, establish and maintain contacts, and discuss new strategies. Suppliers and decision-makers from all over the world set the course for 2018 in Cologne.

bpi solutions and its partner Diomex Software recorded strong interest in the industry solutions and a significant increase in visitors compared to the previous year at imm 2018. The mobile CRM industry solution bpi Sales Performer mobile was the focus of interest. It became clear that increasing flexibility is required to enable even better communication between field and office staff. The industry solution perfectly reflects these customer needs and supports companies in increasingly better implementing digitalization and mobility.

bpi solutions and Diomex Software presented solutions that are fully integrated and meet the needs of both brick-and-mortar and online channels. The new versions 4.6 of the CRM solution bpi Sales Performer and the catalog and publishing solution bpi Publisher help companies optimize their processes, for example, further streamlining the production of catalog pages through fully automated control and providing data for an integrated omnichannel solution.

Another highlight at the trade fair booth was master data management and variant configuration with XcalibuR. High master data quality is in constant demand in the furniture retail and furniture industry. By using it, the furniture retail industry can guarantee that the delivery of reliable master data will be met with valid electronic orders in a timely manner. XcalibuR becomes the basis for a consistent multi-channel strategy. For example, the standardized master data makes assortment and maintenance of the specialist product range significantly more efficient, both offline and online. The software also facilitates consulting and planning of variant items at the POS by integrating the XcalibuR configurator into the graphical purchase entry system or by connecting the web shop.

The Bielefeld IT experts presented successfully implemented solutions, ranging from simple workflows to complex, cross-company process management, in an equally vivid and convincing manner. The practical examples of automated incoming mail and invoice processing, as well as numerous workflows in document management and digital archiving, were particularly well received.

Michael Wilke, responsible for the furniture industry at bpi solutions, understands the importance of the company’s location and the Cologne trade fair: “East Westphalia-Lippe is the center of the European furniture industry. As an IT specialist based in Bielefeld, we are at the heart of the market and can respond to the specific requirements of the industry and our customers. At imm cologne, we were able to present the latest innovations to our existing business contacts and convince potential new customers of our solutions.” Anke and Henning Kortkamp, Managing Directors of bpi solutions, summarize: “We are very satisfied with how the trade fair went. Many constructive discussions, coupled with an extremely positive outlook for the coming months… that’s a good start to the year.”
